Re: Opinions on DVDs/Blu-rays/Hard-copies of media?

I have a couple VHS tapes still - family stuff.
Have some DVDs because they're things that are hard to find and/or have lots of extra content, like the Lord of the Rings.

Here's my question back at anyone - is there any way to buy digital downloads of your preferred media WITH all the extras and whatnot? I mean - if I buy LoTR as a digital download, will it have the option of different commentaries, all the extra behind the scenes stuff, etc.?

Because that's about the only way I'll ever buy a movie again.
