Speaking of comments... This community has gotten incredibly quiet. I wonder how many people are actually on it at one time. 10, maybe? Less?

I visit but don't always comment. Also, with fewer secrets being submitted (which is why I appreciate secret making anon(s)), less to comment on.

Yep - fewer secrets, and even fewer that are for fandoms that I know anything about. These days I comment on maybe 1 in 20 secrets because I don't know enough about most fandoms to have anything of value to say. :(

Same. I haven't really had the spoons to follow any new stuff for about ten years, so I don't have an opinion about any of the subjects of most secrets other than the "retro fandom" secrets and stuff like general fandom interaction etiquette, etc.

But I still read because I don't really have much of a fandom circle anymore except the cosplay folks on FB. Nowhere to talk about stuff like fic. And there's some fun, witty, kind-hearted people here. (Also some trolls though, yeah. I am staying out of the discussion on this because I said anything I could say last time.)

I thought about this too. I think people have less time/patience to indulge in troll secrets and flame wars. The ones who cared got scared off eventually, and all that's left are people who ignore/don't care about troll secrets.

Probably for the best. Just have genuine outlandish opinions, rather than trying to piss people off and scare them away.

I commented a few times on the last secret from the person this secret references, but I'm staying out of this this time. No matter what's going on in this particular case, I don't want to engage.

I think the threads that get a lot of negative engagement suck for this comm, tbh. I'd rather ten regular kind, thoughtful commenters than a hundred dickwads constantly stirring shit 'cause they're bored. I think I've occasionally been an asshole on FS, but I've never tried to troll anyone.

I'm here almost every day, but I rarely comment because I usually just don't have the energy.

I check every day but often (especially week nights) the secrets go up when I’m in bed in my time zone and I don’t always check first thing in the morning. So I often don’t comment even if I wanted to as I know I’ll probably get zero engagement as most of the posting happens in the early hours my time. Sometimes I comment anyway. Depends on how I feel!
