SO MUCH This. People get so worked up about it instead of just enjoying the process of creating. Some people need to be humbled by creating for a tiny obscure fandom, but they would never do that because the fake Internet points wouldn't be enough for them.

If your reason for making content is the clout, rather than because you enjoy making content and you want that content to exist on your blog, then you need to be making the absolute highest quality shit that pushes all the fandom's buttons. And even then you're not entitled to anyone's attention.
