113) Defacing other peoples property... it's just not cool. It's not yours to put the mark on. Someone worked hard to make it for everyone to enjoy, not just those few who will smile at the reference. If you want a calling card that says "hey I'm a Naruto fan" put a leaf on your backpack. Maybe then that person who sees it and smiles will come up to you and share the love back.
114) Fandom is a cooperative effort, not a competition. If you see it as a competition everyone loses -- you because your enjoyment is tainted with envy and doubt, the rest of us, because we don't get to see your efforts, because you no longer freely share them. When fandom is cooperative, ideas bounce from one mind to another and beget other ideas, which then beget others and, I'm serious here, it's unicorns and rainbows. It's fucking unicorns and rainbows for everyone. Jealousy is the cancer. Come back.
