go too fast/moving too fast, in the concept of an interpersonal relationship, is almost always about romantic or sexual intimacy. It's not queer-exclusive, but when it's said between two perceived-as-same-gender people, it's queer as hell.

But his death was hugely consequential. This isn't about whose death is worse. It is how impactful and memorable the death was. Dany got stabbed and seemingly no one actually cared (in show or the audience).

I thought this was hot as hell, because hesitancy is a link of mine.
The shippy-ness of it is all in the delivery of the line.
Reading the scene differently than I do doesn't make someone a homophobe, though.
