The fact I can buy SO MANY of the pieces of the stilsuit on amazon drives me fucking BATSHIT. It all looks so fucking basic and is poor water discipline.

Even the syfy miniseries designs were better than this.

The miniseries stillsuits were great. For being low budget, they did a really good job with what they had.

Honestly I feel that goes for the entire miniseries. It is a little cheesey and its truly a product of that time in syfy's time, but it and children of dune were really trying to do something big and I really appreciate it. They will probably be the most faithful adaptations we've ever get, for better or worse. (I readily admit some parts of the book really dont work on screen and make it boring)

If the Syfy miniseries gives you what you want from a Dune adaptation, then who cares what the movie does?
