If you haven’t already, maybe look up something like “uncluttered maximalist room” and see if any ideas work for you?

But thank you for this. While i like the clean aesthetic (and also general clean vibe) of minimalism, I've got a lot of stuff over the years even after throwing things out/donating. Honestly, I'm always afraid the room will look like as stuffy Victorian grandmother's house. But this uncluttered maximalist design is something on the level with me -- creating a space that doesn't try to hide who you are. Just be organized about it.

I'm so into maximalism but I still like spare rooms. I like the eclectic and exciting aesthetic, especially when it's spare enough for you to appreciate and take care of the individual pieces.
