136. I laughed, but I really can't argue. I mean, DCAU Riddler looked awesome, and The Batman's Riddler looked terrible. God, I love me some Eddie.

139. Why don't draw something you actually like...?

143. Heh. I only got a PS2 for that game too, before I'd even heard of the fandom. And it's still one of the few games I've actually beaten. *terrible at completing games* I'd suggest Jimminy's journal, except Jimminy's journal was useless. It actually took me ages to beat in the first place, I seem to recall! I left it for months with Sora stuck in Agrabah, and came back and beat it when I realized the second one was coming out.

144. Are we talking movies or comics? Because it really depends on where you go. But it's okay! I still feel like a newbie sometimes, and I've been involved for a couple years now. Stupid 60 year old fandom...

151. My sister and I used to dread the Genii episodes. He was moderately better than the rest, but... yeah. I agree with you on the First Season thing though.

cause drawings of trees and bushes and flowers and portraits of pretty ladies don't sell very well, unless i put a puppy or a fat cherub in there.

or paint it on velvet or something. which much suck to do, velvet dusts like a mofo.

What about portraits of pretty ladies who are half-zombies? I'd buy that.

Seriously, there's tons of things you could draw that aren't 'traditional' stuff that people would buy and you'd enjoy to draw.

... zombies, you say? ¬_¬

yabbut here's the thing. very few fandoms are so stable, or so willing to pay for art, as furry fandom is. it's really just a matter of going where the money is.

[identity profile] morgana006.livejournal.com 2009-02-17 12:19 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I don't know about you, but I'm going to draw what I like to draw and fuck the goddamn money.

(Anonymous) 2009-02-17 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
and i wish you joy with that (no sarcasm). i wish i had that privilege, i really do.

[identity profile] morgana006.livejournal.com 2009-02-17 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
Good luck too. I hope that someday you won't have to worry about the money anymore so you can do what you enjoy.

be a commercial artist or something, then.

don't give me any nonsense about it not being artistically fulfilling, as long as you can afford a living you can do whatever the hell you want on the side.

Comics, though started as Nolanverse. It's just sad that I can see how people would get really discouraged.
