101) You know, whatever. The fandom potential is definitely a perk. I can love things like Olivia Butler stories which will never ever have a fandom but sometimes I want to read fic and squee over things and talk fandom to people-- and canons with the potential for spurring that those things are a big plus, even if the canon itself is pretty meh.

115) Give in to what?

118) Good for you! Now go enjoy your het, gen and femmeslash.

155) Well it doesn't help that he never ever ever gets to do anything. Except apparently mouth off pages worth of exposition.

157) You know, a lot of us have to struggle with that. I'm very socially retarded. Making and keeping friends is really really tough work for me. So actually yes, actually coming out and admitting to the few friends you haven't pushed off and admitting that you are a person with difficulties and not a robot who doesn't give a fuck just might get you some where. If nothing else they might be able to clue you in on what you are doing wrong so that you can hope to change things in the future.

167) That's really really sad. I can't think of how horrible a relationship you had with your mother to care so little about her being gone.

I should have said 'give up' really, it's just the (not very accurate) way I talk.

Give in as in throw in the towel and walk away from it.

Well honestly, to appreciate B-5 you really have to 1) start watching from the first episode (season 5 is no good, but neither is season 2, 3 or 4) and also 2) Be patient. It gets hyped a lot by those of us who love it as being the best thing ever -- but it takes a while to build up to that. At the very beginning it's about on par with Star Trek. It's just that where Star Trek is basically what it is and episodes can be watched out of order and not have it make a big difference, with B-5 each of those star trek like episodes acts like a pixel for a much bigger, grander, and more awesome picture.

So yeah, it's really easy to give up if you don't have the right expectations.
