Second day of contacts that don't hurt my eyes! Either my dry eyes have gone away (doctor said my eyelids looked healthier) or contact technology has gotten better in the past four years.

Getting my costume ready for a con this weekend. The first in sooooo long!! Very excited

Setting aside fic for awhile (since no one's reading it anyway hahaha, the joys of writing for a dead fandom) and trying to finish up cosplay. I think all I need to do is a couple more armored bits and the tricky bits of the wig to make it wearable, and I really, REALLY want to do a photoshoot in the forest in early fall. (I wanted to do one last fall. Got eaten by fic and stopped working on the cosplay.)

Still getting 2-3 hours sleep most nights due to sick bunny. I have no idea how I'm still functioning. He goes for a recheck Friday morning but I don't know if there's anything else that can be done other than keep giving him the antibiotics and antiparasitics. And, well, riding it out with the little dude.

Thanks. He's still trying to be the good little boy he always has been, and he's getting much better at getting to his feet without my help, but... my good little boy keeps falling over and it's heartbreaking. :/ Less than two weeks into a course of treatment that's going to last at least a month though, so of course.

Great day at work. I'm exhausted and have a headache from ragweed, but I feel good about what I got done today. Settling into my bed now with an ice pack and my computer to catch up on fandom things and watch something for an hour.

Just found out that one of the people behind Digimon Tamers used those characters to push Covid-19 conspiracy theories during the official Digimon anniversary event and I’m just over here wondering what even is this timeline.

Feeling guilty as hell ordering takeout every day this week instead of being a fucking responsible adult and going to the grocery store to save money. But I don't want to go when it's raining and I sure as hell don't want to go during a busy time when there's no mask mandate.

Also feeling guilty about failing at work again. I'm sure I could do more, but I'm tired of feeling stupid in every situation and not knowing if I'm taking too much responsibility or not enough.

But at least I'm making progress on one fanwork, so there's that, I guess.
