Hamlet/Horatio is my major Shakespeare 'ship (followed by Rosencrantz/Guildenstern and Viola/Olivia) but I can get behind all those listed. But, what, no Horatio/Ophelia?

Also, my opinion of movie adaptations of Hamlet varies depending on the film. And I haven't seen nearly enough, so if anyone would like to rec me particularly good ones, have at please?

Oh Oh if you haven't seen it I highly recommend the one with Campbell Scott. It's produced by friggin Hallmark of all things but I enjoyed it a lot, and most people haven't heard of it.

Wait, wait, you mean someone else has seen the Campbell Scott version? That is possibly my favorite version and if it's second it's only to Kenneth Branaugh. Please tell me it's out on DVD somewhere, oh my god. *fangirls you to death*

OH MAN I friggin love that version, srsly. Scott's Crazy is so much different than branaugh... I love the scene after he kills Polonius and is just screwing around on the statue....

Yeah, we got it on DVD off Amazon... I dunno if they still have it, but it's definitely out there!

And after he does the whole "rogue and peasant slave" soliloquy and the painting falls on him, and he just flails around under there for a bit. And the scene where Polonius and Claudius are spying on them! (derp, can't come up with acts today) I loooooove that version.

I doubt you haven't seen it/heard of it, but I highly recommend Kenneth Branagh's adaptation. Also, doubt you can beat Olivier.

If I hadn't known for certain that I did not post this, I would have thought it was my secret! You are not alone! i love this adaptation, and I ship all of them all the time.
