guns on heels is probably the least absurd thing about bayonetta tbh (which is (part of) why i love it so much (well the first one anyway))

You know, I've been amused by the character design since the game came out (and still haven't played it, which is sad because that makes it look fun in the same way that ridiculous action movies are fun) and it only just occurred to me to wonder...

...Assuming they can fire, how does she fire them? Toe trigger inside the shoe?

i strongly recommend it, it's an amazing game even around the character design

and... she's a witch, so probably just "magic". you can upgrade them to other weapons later in the game - for the first game shotguns in the hands and rocket launchers on the legs is my favourite combo for bosses (i don't use the kilgore glitch)

Hah, I wondered about that, if the explanation was "don't think too hard about it". XD

Rocket launchers on the legs, hahahaha. ...I had always had the vague thought she was a cosplay option for the sheer wtfery (and the glasses), but if it gets even more ridiculous, I think I will have no defense if I ever do manage to play it. :D

She's got some interesting anatomy and proportions in that pose. She also has magic action girl boobs that conveniently never get in her way when she crosses her arms across her chest to shoot dramatically.
