Also a lesser-known but hilarious example: whoever it is pretending to be Devin Nunes's cow on Twitter, which pissed the dude off so badly he sued. He sued a fake online cow. And lost.

On a similar note, I kept seeing an account "random_snakes" pop up in the news threads basically to say "[politician] is trending because they're an idiot and need science facts. Here are some pictures and facts about snakes instead!" and it made my browsing Twitter so much better that I just straight up followed them (I barely follow anyone). Turns out they're really that much fun all the time, not just when stupid stuff is trending that "needs to be snaked tf out". :D
