141. I saw PotP. The Swan dude just really creeped me out. I didn't like it.

160. I agree. But I think I would think lesser of it if I hadn't heard JK Rowling say that she knew a lot of people would be upset with it, but that its how she wanted to do it. So it feels really honest to me, its not for the fan's pleasure, its not for anyone else's. It's just how she wanted it. And thus, I want it that way, too. :3

Yeah, I understand where it's not everyone's idea of BEST MOVIE EVAR (hell, I didn't like it the first time I saw it), but it just makes me sad that it seems to get looked over so often, idk.

Yeah, I can agree with that. It's definitely a movie worth seeing, its very different, out there, interesting. A good movie if anyone wants a WTF-movie!? to watch. XD

160. The feeling I got with JKR was that after all the time she spent in that universe she wanted it to have a firm, "and everyone who didn't die lived happily ever after" ending to it. And I think she kinda deserved it.

Definitely. It feels relevant to mention the way she kept Arthur Weasley alive, rather than killing him in the 5th book like she had planned. She'd come to love him so much that his death wasn't entirely necessary, so she pulled out of that. A part of me also thinks that if she hadn't loved Harry so much, for the greater strength of the story, he probably would have died in the end. I'm sure it was painful enough having to kill the characters whose deaths were really needed for the storyline, and with that, I mean to conclude that yeah, things should end the way they did. Hell, the characters deserve it. :3
