151: Hell, yes. DS9 missed the perfect chance to boldly go where no Star Trek series has gone before, but I like Ziyal too much to complain. Actually, I was more annoyed with the way they replaced the Julian-Garak dynamic with Julian's and O'Brian's all-darts-no-subtext friendship. Oddly enough, when Ziyal died, I started shipping Garak/Keiko, out of spite. I don't know why, or how that's supposed to work, but well.

165: IKR? I think he's pretty avarage at everything he does. He even laughs an annoying lot at his own jokes. Still, I think he's the most adorable thing ever, and I love him to bits. I bet he uses 51st century pheromones. ;)

OMG word. I don't have anything against Julian and Miles being friends, it's a bit of a laugh considering they hated each other but I'm with you on the displacement thing. And Garak/Keiko? I hadn't thought of it before but that's genius.

Ziyal always seemed a bit too.... sweet to me though, I dunno.

And love your icon, which is mostly why I'm replying *g*

There wasn't supposed to be subtext in Julian's friendship with O'Brien? Really? I must be delusional then cause I saw plenty. XD I love the idea of Keiko/Gark btw. That's awesome.

I think it was supposed to be a way of saying 'See how straight and manly Bashir is, for he does straight and manly things with other straight and manly men. No more discussing literature over dinner.' Whether or not it worked, though, is a completely different question. ;)

I actually liked their friendship a lot, I just wished they hadn't used it to replace Julian's friendship with Garak. And Garak/Keiko needs fic, like, yesterday. :/

I loved Bashir and O'Brien's friendship (although I never shipped it, it was totally platonic to me), but it was really disappointing how they used it to replace so much of Bashir's other relationships. :/ Not just with Garak, but with Jadzia, too, for that matter.

Six degrees of Bashir...I always liked him with Sisko... Worf and Garak would have worked; and I believe there was an alternate timeline episode where it was implied that Garak was Worf's Bi#ch---I say that...I hope I'm thinking of the right character when I say Garak--It's been ages since, I've seen this show.

165: I have to agree. I love Barrowman; but if I'm honest, I must admit that he is really not that great of an actor. He does fine with theater and singing, but that's about it.
