Re: What tropes in a show/movie/game legitimately make you drop it?
Marriage and kids is the only true life goals, if you don't want that, there is something wrong with you.
Anything involving the idea that gender norms are genetic and that every man and every woman fits inside those norms always.
super grim and dark where there is no hope ever and every single character is either evil, a criminal of some kind, or a complete anti-hero who only does good things for selfish reasons. Where there is no one you actually want to root for and there is no hope in sight, not even a bittersweet ending, just dark and grim and depressing. What's the point?
