I haven't played P4 yet (it's not out in the EU) but if P4's MC isn't a... well... "user" it's because the game is more developed, I guess. So it's not really Minato's fault that you could date many girls for example. And still you don't have to date many girls.
Really, it's just how you decide to play him. :)
He lacked personality, though. But that's the point... I guess.
But I can see where you're coming from! :)
And Minato did sacrifice himself.

(Anonymous) 2009-02-20 11:05 pm (UTC)(link)And yeah, I know a lot of it is down to the player's behavior and is thus my fault. And I know he sacrificed himself, but I formed this opinion before reaching the end of the game, so I can't quite shake it.
It's not as if I don't know that he's not meant to be seen that way, or that my choices do affect his "behavior" (I could make him totally monogamous if I wanted to forgo ultimate social link power for the rest of the girls). It's an impression that I formed that I can't get rid of and for which I feel slightly silly, which is why it's a secret.
