Marilyn Monroe in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes doing the "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" number. I don't watch a lot of old movies, and to be honest, it was only last night, watching that musical number, that I feel like I finally understood just how incredible of an actress Marilyn actually was.

Also, fuck yeah, get that ice, Lorelei Lee. Don't count on men for shit.

oh did you finally watch the whole film? I think the musical number in the context of the film is such a great "revenge" song, in that it's a clever response to dudes who believe women can only be in it for money.
