How would you describe this game/have you played other dating sim games and which have you preferred?

Super short, and not many distinct enemy types. I liked Valeria, but most of the other love interests didn’t do much for me. (Sunder, the guy who looks like Fabio, is unbelievably irritating.) Attacks are kind of fiddly to aim unless you’re using Sunder or Rowan, and you can’t roll through enemies, so it’s easy to get trapped in a corner and finished off fast.

I don’t play a lot of dating games, but as far as dungeon crawlers, the comparison I kept making was Going Under. Boyfriend Dungeon portrays the West Coast gig economy as cool and stylish, and Going Under is about how the West Coast gig economy will suck the life out of you.
