I loved this episode! It's my fave of the new Unsolved Mysteries series (I ultimately don't like the reboot and have just gone back to rewatch the Robert Stack eps on youtube.)
But yes, I work as a mental health nurse and I agree. She is, unfortunately, mentally ill and it saddens me that (other than one comment about her possibly being mentally ill before being instantly dismissed) it is being taken seriously and takes up so much of the episode.
But the rest of the episode was great! I found it genuinely touching, chilling and sad. I loved hearing all of the ghost stories (ghosts in taxis? Visiting people's houses? Creepy! I love it).

Agree with all of this. Plus, the original series had stories about people who claimed they were haunted by someone, or living in a haunted place, or whatever, so it seemed fitting a story like that would pop up here.

But yeah, this episode actually made me cry. Especially when you started seeing all the mementos and such people found that belonged to those who'd died.
