What is everyone doing this weekend?

I have had a headache all day so trying to get rid of that. Have to change the air filter on the AC tomorrow morning before it gets super hot. Sunday we are using some leftover brisket to make some delicious sandwiches.

LOTR extended marathon with dad. Other than that, lots of sleep and lots of time with the kitty.

Thanks. I hope you get rid of your headache, that sucks. We've had bad allergies here the past few days, but at least the ozone levels are finally down to normal.

Getting up early to work out, bc tomorrow is the start of the US college football season and I want to watch games all day. My husband is making us BBQ wings and fried plantains to snack on (my favorites!!!). Its supposed to be screaming hot here tomorrow so I'll be making a big pitcher of sun tea. Sunday will be a lazy day, maybe at the beach.

Praying that our street, driveway, and basement do not flood because there's going to be heavy rain and there have been two flash flood warnings (this afternoon, and one from now until Sunday the 28th @ 2 a.m.

Taking a languages exam, helping out babysitting my niece in the afternoon, tv with friends and partner (one after the other, not together). I miss my partner, so I'm really looking forward to our time together.

Japanese! And my niece is 3 and a half years old, already able to speak in longer sentences and give creative reasons as to why she totally can skip bathing today. I hope you have a nice weekend as well!

Still scrubbing in prep for new fridge tomorrow. I think I'm gonna wait until tomorrow morning to move my potted jungle of plants out of the way of the back door though, since the fridge isn't supposed to get here until the afternoon.

If I'm gonna throw out my back I prefer to wait until the house is clean(er, it will never be really clean by my hands tbh.)

After the delivery guys get the fridge in and go, I think I'll collapse and sleep tbh. I hate having people I know in my house, nevermind strangers.

Sunday I guess I restock the fridge and play fridge tetris because it's smaller than the one it's replacing.

They'll be taking the old one away and bringing the new one inside. Aside from that I think the only setup is plugging it in (no ice maker or anything) and even I can do that.

Tomorrow, I'm going to be writing in the morning, grocery shopping, and playing the second session of my friend's homebrew steampunk ttrpg in the afternoon. Sunday, I'll be cooking and going down to help my grandmother with some stuff.

working sunday
cleaning up my Apartment on saturday.
picking up some new manga Releases i was looking forward to.
checking the new snack aisles at the locl asian food store (last time i went they were still busy with stocking and inventory).
