Okay kidding, you shouldn't feel bad about liking Gwen/Lancelot -- really. They had mad sparks in his episode, it even made me a little giggly. I just want him to go far away because this Gwen doesn't strike me as an adulteress, even a future one. And I don't want anyone breaking up my awesome foursome. Unless he wants to join in.

In which case, have at it.

But yeah, I definitely do ship Gwen/Morgana; theirs is the most beautiful relationship on the show so far, because there's so much trust and they'd do just anything for each other and there is flower-picking. And they're just so damn pretty. XD

As for the adultery thing, that worries and upsets me, too. I...TRY NOT TO THINK ABOUT IT TOO HARD, TBH. I like fics where it's a shaaam marriage with Arthur/Merlin and Gwen/Lancelot. I can have my legend and eat it, too. (Mixing metaphors--something I'm allowed to do while anonymous.)

Heee, no, I know what you mean. For me, any of the relationships on the show can be (and probably are all at this point) platonic; it's all in how you read the subtext and/or fill in the missing scenes. Which is what makes the show so much fun cause pretty much every pairing has some subtext at some point or other. Gah, I'm such a shipping h0r for this show.

YOU CAN'T THINK ABOUT MERLIN TOO HARD IN GENERAL, I THINK. *laughs* But I kind of love Gwen to bits and bits, and so I feel like she can do better than being Arthur's beard. The clear solution is for none of them to have to choose. OT4 FTW. *g*

Lol, I know what you mean, while I do mildly ship M/G (lol, I ship a lot of things on Merlin! ;)), I do enjoy their friendship most of all, and I thought Gwen/Lancelot had the most chemistry/potential of all Gwen pairings (I can't stand Arthur/Gwen).

Adultery no, but what's wrong with her liking them both, even if she doesn't act on it? Not all love triangles involve cheating, some just have lots of angst...

For example I'm still hoping for my OTP Arthur/Morgana to happen before he gets with Gwen--I mean, they have SO much freaking chemistry, and have both been written as being attracted to each other physically, and why the hell did they make them NOT siblings (contrary to the legend) if not to allow them to be love interests at some point?!

Until we hear otherwise, in my future canon Arthur ends up with Gwen after Morgana leaves (to turn evil or whatever) and he can't have her, and he and Gwen comfort each other over her being gone or something....

I like M/G (I ship them mildly, but love them as friends too), though I did like G/L as well....much more than I like A/G! :p

True, I think there'll have to be some sort of love triangle there -- but I don't want it to be more than that. :P I sort of rebel against the original legend, which I think says more about the misogyny of most of the authors back then than anything else.

I think Arthur/Morgana are hot together (because, well, they're such ridiculously hot people) so I definitely ship them in terms of fandom, but I think they're turning out more sibling-like on the show. The bickering interspersed with moments of tenderness. They're attracted to each other, which is cool cause they're not related, but I don't think they quite know what to do with each other. I love reading it in fanfic, though, because I can definitely see it becoming more. *g* (also, have I mentioned they're hot? LOL)

But I ship everything. You name it, I'll read it. Even Arthur/Gwen. Which NEVER happens for me. I never ship the canon ship, but in this fandom I do. XP
