OMG IT'S A CARTOON CHARACTER HOW DISRESPECTFUL!

I think they mean disrespectful to the actual people who are being COMPARED to cartoon characters in order to piss off rival shippers.

Hmm...not so sure. It really sounds like she's a Kataang or whatever fangirl and is pissed because omg my precious character is not a horrible person or what have you.

Yeah, a kataang fangirl at Caps Zutara? That makes perfect sense!

I have no idea what that is, that's just the way it came off to me.

You'd be surprised how many Kataangers join with the intent to troll. Hell, I've read secrets here saying how they started off with a purpose to troll and ended up shipping Zutara. XD

But yeah, it all reminds me of when we had that Zootard banner craze and some idiots at a Kataang board took them seriously. *rolls eyes*

I dunno, maybe some Kataangers join because they'd like to share in the fun.

But it seems like all Zutarians are good at is making fun of people, making of ships, and then they whine about how poorly they are treated by the fandom. They whine about being called delusional, but can call another shipper "pedo" without batting an eyelash.

Did you ever think that maybe the reason people react to you all the way they do is because of your own crappy behavior and attitudes and disrespect and people can't tell when you are being funny or not.

Just sayin. You know. Before you go calling people "idiots' again.

I ship a lot of different things and have no loyalty to one thing over another, but lately, Zutara has ranked low on my totem pole. Not because of the ship itself, but the shippers.

Okay, let me clarify. The reason I called them idiots was because they took something posted in a *CAPSLOCK* comm seriously. The thing about Capslock comms is that they are the furthest thing from serious. It's a place to be the total jackass in the name of lulz and porn (kinda like 4chan only without the anonymity). There is where I pull the whole "Zutara is superior" spiel and whatnot. Also, the whole "pedo" thing originated on Capstara as well, iirc. Again, Capslock IS NOT srs bns. Which is why we do have a few Maikoans and Kataangers that do respectfully come in and enjoy the smut, porn and lulz. Because they realize everything in a Capslock comm is not serious.

Outside of Capstara, I am very respectful to other ships (unless it's a private conversation in which the bashing of certain unfavored ships may vary depending on who I'm talking to and will likely never see the light of day outside of said conversation). Outside of it, I tend not to bat an eye at whatever ship someone chooses to like. Wanna ship Hama/Combustion man? Go right ahead. Kacest/Zucest? Make my day. IDGAF.

Thing is, no ship is clean from making fun of other ships in the Avatar fandom, especially between Zutara and Kataang. I've seen mud thrown on both sides and it drives me crazy. Hell, I used to be a multishipper until canon Nazis ruined it for me. There's a reason I cling to non canon so I can dream of other possibilities after all (and Avatar is certainly no exception *cough*GurrenLagaan,PrincessTutu,HarryPotter*cough*).

Not to mention I love talking to people who do ship canon, because I love what they can come up with, particularly those who weren't satisfied with the way their ships happened (for example, I am severely tempted by the idea of writing a fic where Zuko got off his ass and saved Mai from TBR prior to getting crowned Fire Lord; had that happened in canon, I probably would be somewhat of a Maiko shipper).

That and I more dislike Bryke than anything else due to their asinine behavior at SDCC 08. But does anyone listen to me when I say that? Fuck no. I'm just a butthurt Zutarian. *headdesk* Fanfiction exists for a reason, people. I am fucking over it.

Bloody hell, this turned out so much longer than I originally planned. *sigh* I just can't shut up. *skitters away*

Actually, we weren't taking it seriously, but lulzing at your lulz. Basically, you were being silly and we were laughing at your silliness. See? No harm done and lulz for all.

Yeah, but I did see some that were offended by it, if I'm not mistaken. Even then, they used the graphics on a Kataang site without the permission of the creator (talking specifically about one user, as I'm unsure of the others' policy when it comes to using their graphics on rival ship sites - it was mostly that specific user's banners anyway).

And let's not forget how I posted some of the less offensive ones on the "You Laugh, You Lose" game on the Twilight Sucks forums and elicited a bitchy Kataanger rant when that wasn't my freakin' intention. *rolls eyes* Speaking of, I have more to go through to post... :>
