But I don't like it, or the fandom. I didn't "leave" because of fanboys/girls and their "ruining it for me," I grew out of it, like I grew out of playing with Beanie Babies or reading Cosmogirl.

Yeah, Beanie Babies are childish, but is Cosmo? I was merely listing other things I've enjoyed and discarded over the years--one example pre-anime, one example post-anime. Sorry, my own poor wording, if it came off otherwise.
