In the situation was reversed and she was 12 and he was 14, he could face prosecution.

It all comes down to maturity levels, and by the age of fourteen you should know better. But when I was fourteen, there were girls who just didn't, whether it was because of their home life or their education.
But I don't believe anything in the papers other than what we know for a fact, so I'm not going to judge the girl. Unless it comes out that she manipulated/forced him into it, I can't think of her as being in the wrong any more than he is. And that's just because I don't know either of them personally and I get caught up in little details like that and such ^^;;
But that's just my view.
