As to Kataang (Zutara too), I couldn't give two hoots (I ship in fandoms, but I've never shipped to the extend where I get into a frothy rage because someone dissed my ship)

I don't understand the utter lack of pity people have toward these kids.
They obviously were never taught about sex, were neglected by their parents, and yes, they did something stupid, but they were 12 and 14! I did some pretty fucking stupid things at that age, and my parents were great. It sounds like they're dealing with the whole situation as well as they know how.

It's just unfortunate there's so much media coverage of this - they're not the only case where this has happened.
