I really enjoy two of his books: Carrie, and The Dead Zone.

I like parts of The Stand. I skip over all of the Randall Flagg stuff in the The Stand, and a lot of the stories of the people who go to him. Those bits I do not enjoy. I kinda skim over a lot of Franny and her neurosis about babies, too.
What's cool about that books is the parts where everything is unraveling, how people survive, and how the four get to Las Vegas toward the end. And Stu and Tom's story.
