I did know that. However, I don't think it is that weird to not know or that it makes you a bad fan. Personally, I don't follow actors much of things I like. For me it is all about the characters, and paying attention to the actors (with a few exceptions like Cate Blanchett who is perfection in real life too) can ruin the immersion for me.
