129. I epilate mine. It doesn't hurt after the first time or two. I honestly cannot remember the last time I saw a naked woman in front of me that had any pubic hair. Hair traps odor, and even if one bathes everyday, pubic hair still gets musty. (And before anyone comments about men, I expect them to at least trim and, ideally, to bathe before an encounter.)

And honestly, this is not meant to be offensive to anyone, but remember your demographics when asking a question. Fandom in general is filled with the specific type of lesbians and feminists who prefer to abandon any and all customs they feel are in any way perpetrated by the patriach, such as bras, shaving, etc. (Which is not to be judgmental of those who do so, merely stating a fact.) And let's not forget that the majority of fandom women are on the heavy side, which makes it more difficult for them to reach and/or see the whole area to begin with.

Also, culturally. In some cultures, women don't even feel it necessary to shave their armpits. Perhaps some shave their pubic hair and not their armpits, but it's not what one would expect. There are various hygiene expectations around the world.
