There's always been religious allegory on the show, but not because they're trying to force us to be something, it's just...explaining the themes and suggesting a bigger force at work with the characters and...fucking duh.

I got into this show so late, and I'd watched all the episodes that were available (this was over X-mas) before actually venturing online and checking out fandom--I NEVER would have guessed at Penny/Sheldon! Seriously! It never dawned on me, and yet it's the dominant ship. Bizarre. But they are kinda adorable.

I'm a woman, and I shave because i like the way it feels shaved (especially during sex!) - not because of what anyone else things about it. I wish people (in fandom, especially, where there's always bitching about it) would stop acting like if you like it shaved, you're a paedo or buying into societal pressure.

Word. I started shaving because of some pretty tmi reasons and I was actually scared someone would find out because "only the slutty girls did that." I did it entirely "for me." Now, I just really like it.
