Oh god, shaving wank. *eyeroll* Honestly, in fandom it seems you're *more* likely to run into people who think shaving is The Evil (or at least a sign that UR SUPPORTING THE PEDOPHILIAC PATRIARCHY) than people who shave/wax/whatever.

Personally, I like to shave. All of it. Because I like the way it feels. Because it feels better during sex for me. I actually shave "down there" more often than I remember or bother to shave my legs--because I don't do it for how it looks to others but how it feels for me. And I wish sometimes that fandom didn't make me feel like *I* should be guilty for something I enjoy doing. Wear your bush proudly if you want, I don't care! Just give those of us who like it bald the same respect.

Ditto. Is it TMI if I am not anon? Heh, sorry, if so. But seriously, my choice has nothing to do with societal pressure or what some dude wants and everything to do with how I like my body to look and feel.

I definitely think everyone should be careful what they say about women who like to shave/wax. People ought to be able to do what they want for their own reasons! I don't think pubic hair habits say anything about a woman's feelings on feminism or self-image. S'just a personal preference.

But on the other hand, I understand where the militant bushies are coming from. Most of Western society thinks a woman with hair down below is nasty and unhygienic. It's not considered sexy. And so you guys may get flack from insensitive ladies at times, but we tend to get flack from society at large. And I'm a stubborn bitch who refuses to do something I don't want to do because of outside pressures. I know women who do shave because they're worried about not being attractive to men even though they hate it.

So... yeah, I had a point I think. I guess what I'm saying is, sorry for all the bitchin but it's probably nothing personal. Right now, pubes are the oppressed genital minority and hairy women are kinda sensitive about the issue, haha.
