Today my cat curled up next to me and used his front paws to pull my hand up to him so he could snuggle his face into it. Small, but good. ♥

I think it might be cool enough that I can sleep under my comforter again! It’s so cozy but I sleep crazy hot so the summer is rough.

I had to meet with my program advisor today (virtually, of course) and I was super nervous and trying really hard not to show it. I think she picked up on it because she brought her dog on camera and had the dog sit with her for the entirety of the meeting. The dog was so freaking cute that he kinda made me forget to be nervous and I was able to speak with my advisor without feeling like I was gonna throw up.

The Vagrant Story Bring Arts figures that I ordered like a year ago which were supposed to be released in February FINALLY got released and shipped out this week. My set departed Ohio this morning on its way to my state and are scheduled for delivery Thursday.

21 years and I will finally have some official merch for my favorite game. :D

Oh oh and on the subject of good things involving cute animals - 6 weeks after my bunny's EC diagnosis, he is off all meds and adjusting well to his new disabilities. Sunday night I finally tried to sleep with my lights off again, and I didn't hear him fall over and start flailing in panic even once. =) (For context, last time I tried this a couple weeks ago, he was going down every few minutes.)

I just watched 'Clive Davis: The Sountrack of our Lives' and it was really fun and interesting and very cool to see a man born in 1932 come out on live TV as bisexual in his forties, and still rocking and rolling and loving music in his 80's. Just a fun show (though with a thread of sorrow, as he discovered and signed Whitney Houston and was a life-long friend).

yesterday night I rested my hand close to one of my cats that always sleeps right to my head and she reached out to rest one of her paws and chin on top of it.

Also, I decided to get a take out burger and fries from a new place around here, I asked for normal fries because they are the cheapest but they gave me fries with cheddar and bacon instead (without extra cost). Maybe they just messed up the order and decided not to fix it or are being nice! (without taking consideration I could be lactose intolerant lol) I'm not complaining it was the best cheddar and bacon fries I ever had, normally they are really salty but these are just right.

So I've been told I should get Plex to manage my media, but while I've had a look at the info available, I feel like I'm missing something. Has anyone here used it? Is it worth it (especially if I'm usually running off a laptop and don't have a dedicated server/HD online all the time?)

I'm sorry, anon. I know nothing about it. Maybe check out reddit or youtube videos for any tutorials? Hopefully it can give you a better idea if it's for you by seeing how people use it.

I don't get it, personally. I mean....if i wanna watch any movies or tv shows i have on my computer, I just...click on the folder and watch them. Why do i need some software agent to help me do that?

Plex is good if you want the movie on your computer to be on your TV to watch with friends.

I’ve not used Plex, but my housemate who has says that the UI is nice for streaming to a tv, but doesn’t add too much if you’re just watching on a laptop.

Thanks! I do stream to TV but yeah, if it doesn't add more than UI it's probably not worth the effort.

I can't find a secret I made once

So I made a secret a long time ago about Curzon Dax in Odo on DS9 and I CANNOT FIND IIIIT.

Does anyone remember roughly when it went up on F!S? I want to re-read it again because I loved that secret.
