yeah the whole situation is terrible tbh, and now everyone who was cast in the first season of the lotr show (as extras, side characters etc) is getting screwed over because they're losing their jobs lol. (granted working as an extra isn't steady work, but still.) And all that taxpayer money has gone to Amazon and they've decided to peace out so we (NZ) gain nothing from it. Thanks John Key!
(I'm unsure whether they brought in outside people to work as crew or not, so idk if crew people have lost their jobs but definitely some people will...)
