163. I find it amazing how people don't seem to realize that she makes mean jokes about EVERYTHING, even the stuff she likes and the people who like stuff she likes. I used to get butthurt when she seemed flippant about things, then I learned that oh hey, that's just her non-serious, "everything is stupid in its own way" attitude and I should gtfover it.

I think some of you guys are waaaay too quick to judge her every word and action when she's probably just having fun herself?

Ever consider this ATTITUDE is making HER feel threatened around you guys maybe? That maybe she seems off because people are actively ~~bullying~~ trying to get her to leave?

Tell me how you manage to overlook her two-year-old "everyone is ganging up on me and everything is unfair baww" attitude?

But a lot of you ARE ganging up on her. I've seen tons of times people would attack her for absolutely nothing.

That's not much of a generalization. She openly admitted that the reason she destroyed the transformation balls because Leon wasn't getting enough attention in his class logs.
In fact, I believe Prism or Pimmy confirmed it in the chat that day, although it'd been a while and my memory isn't the best of things.

Players have been scared to say what they want around her, and for a while after the Donut even, people feared starting events because who know if she'd throw a temper tantrum or not because they were too 'like island' or some other silly excuse.
She's ostracized players and mods alike, and several people who've left the game have stated that they didn't want to put up with her childish behavior and poor moderation abilities as a main reason for their leaving.

No mod or player should be allowed to make so many people that uncomfortable and upset for so long.

Many of us are just getting sick and tired or her BS and while I couldn't care less if she was completely removed from the game or not, I do want to see her removed from modship.

I was told the transformation balls were destroyed because they were being used in a way that wasn't intended. The class was supposed to teach the skills to transform, not just hand out no-effort items or whatever. But that's a long tired discussion. I didn't know people were still upset about that!

I personally hated the Donut event and like-events too. I feel like way too many people want the RP to be "LOL EPIK RANDUM XDD" and it's ehhh. I eventually left because the atmosphere wasn't as fun for me personally as it was when it started. (everyone just tried to out-epic each other lately)

I'll agree she's not perfect, heck there's a lot of stuff that she did that I didn't like. But those were decisions made by more than one mod, as most mod-decisions are.

I can almost understand some of her behavior though, I guess? I for one can't handle drama and would definitely turn tail if everyone was yelling at the same time. And, heck, if people were outright going against me in ways more than just "to my face" criticism, I'd be a bit passive-aggressive too. The fact that someone had to make a secret instead of talking to her about it is enough.

I just think it's silly that so many people are letting her bother them! I remember one person just seemed to get offended at ANYTHING she said.

Honestly, I think her attitude OOC isn't the biggest issue. It's bad when a mod refuses to listen to players who are unhappy, but there are other mods who will hear you out anyways. She's really not so bad if you don't actively hunt for things she's doing wrong.

I just don't like her roleplaying very much. She's butchered canon characters, proudly admits to making them self-inserts, throws in NPCs from game series that aren't allowed in the game, and advertises other RPs in IC posts. It's generally a bad sign when your personal journal and your IC journals contain the exact same thing.

Her attitude OOC isn't a problem if you're not a target of it, which several players are.

if you don't like her roleplaying, that's your business, but more times than not it feels like a witch-hunt to get rid of the oh-so-evil mod and her terrible terrible ways!

There's a VERY popular player there that everyone likes, but she also openly admitted to not caring about characterization as long as it's fun. I don't agree but I don't go villainizing her for it.

And of course, NPCs from non-allowed series never make appearances in the game. I remember at least one Tony Stark that was completely out of the blue, as well as the entire Capcom high school, though I think that one was mod-approved.

As the OP I'm sad to admit that my own secret was not as clear as it should have been.

TL;DR: I want her demodded more than I want her out of the RP.

I hold nothing against her as your regular joe. I would find her a little annoying, but it isn't anything that would keep me from loving the game.

It is when she goes about these things as a moderator that I start to feel disgusted with her. I know of certain scenarios when she has actively ignored private IMs that people have sent her asking her questions. The time it happened to me personally, I would have simply assumed she was busy talking in chat at the exact same time. Luckily, that is the only thing that had happened to me personally since I just try to mind my own business. A mostly harmless example, I know, but like I said, it was the only thing that has happened against me personally.

But she has openly shown utter dislike for players in the game, amongst other things including the game itself. There is a huge pile of faults that she has been collecting that would be so much easier to forgive if she were not a moderator.

A moderator is not supposed to hate its players. A moderator is not supposed to turn tail and run at the slightest bit of drama. A moderator is not supposed to scream crucifixion when we try to tell her in a constructive manner what she is doing wrong so she can do it right.

For the record, she's still doing it wrong.

I'm pretty sure a person can dislike whoever they want. I don't really know cammi to outright hate people though. I've heard her -playfully joke- about people wanting her out, but never anything "WWAH PEOPLE HATE ME" because that isn't her at all.

The best thing you can do is talk to her to her face and try not to make assumptions. I'm sure when she has the time you could work things out. She's not irrational, if a bit prone to airiness!

I will not argue that people can't dislike people. It's inevitable that it would happen. I know I dislike people, and most of the time I can simply turn a blind eye to it and continue about my business. If Cammi were a regular player, this wouldn't be an issue.

But she's a moderator. I understand that what happens in private journals is, you know, supposed to be private. And this would be dandy if she would choose appropriate filters. But when a mod goes around saying things filtered specifically to the players of that game, that rubs me the wrong way. Why are you telling fellow players that you are untrusting of someone and think they are out to get you? Why are you (purposely or not) trying to spread seeds of distrust amongst the community? What good could that even possibly do?

What are people supposed to think when its a mod doing this?

Amen to this. It's hard to magically be sweetness and light when you feel like people are just going to pounce on you and demand their pound of flesh over every tiny mistake you might make.

I, personally, can't believe that this is still even an issue. If people are still THAT upset over this stuff, maybe the hard and fast world of A CHILDRENS INTERNET ROLEPLAYING GAME is not for them and they should stick to something with appropriately rounded corners and nerf padding. (Or just write fanfiction. That works too - you'll never have to have your characters interact with OMG people you don't like and everything can go exactly as you want it all the time. Cry me a river, however, when no-one reads it.)

I, for one, am sick of the E-Witch hunt that seems to pop up whenever someone gets bored enough and remembers 'Oh, olol that's right I don't like her what shit can I kick up now?'

Here's a clue, ladies and gents - if you just dropped it and let it be, doing your best to just get along with getting along it would be much less of an issue.

That being said, I CAN see other peoples points of view and I know she's been far from perfect but DEAR GOD show me the Man Woman or Child that IS and we'll get the banners ready NOW because I hadn't realised I'd live to see the second goddamn coming.
