I wasn't the biggest fan of it, and even thought it had its moments, such as the moment when the main character's dead dad shows up and tries to hurry off the kid to come with him to the other side since the dino kid was about to die.

I mean, I reserve 'new' for 'just released' otherwise it's just a movie. Like... old movie to me would be Towering Inferno or something... at least get before 2000 before you start slapping 'old' on it lol.

This and Cars 2 ar the only Pixar movies I repeatedly see people shit on. I don't think I've ever seen a positive thread on Good Dinosaur.

I found it enjoyable but definitely a totally different feel from Pixar's standards. Which can be a good or bad thing, I guess. Either way, I agree it wasn't their best effort but it wasn't bad, just something that hits a really niche intersection of interests.
