You know, a lot of really terrible things have happened in the past few years and are still happening (if Billy Joel updated We Didn't Start the Fire, he could use the last five years and end up with, like, 89 verses). And the stresses are going to affect people - creativity, mood, mental health, physical health, relationships, etc. It sucks. And there's no surefire method to help because everyone reacts to things differently. I'm struggling myself - I can still come up with scenarios, but I can't seem to get myself to actually write anything down. I have no good advice, except maybe be patient with yourself and treat yourself with kindness. Think of it like an injury to your psyche that might take a while to heal - stretch it out if you think it might help, but baby it if that works better.
