You might be interested in Sonny Boy, an ongoing anime about a group of high school students being tossed in an unknown dimension out of the blue and them trying to figure out their ever shifting and confusing environment as a whole. Good Secret OP, I wish I had a physical copy of House of Leaves to get into it too.

I wonder what you'd think of Antichamber.

YES! I love that book and I'm here for all of the suggestions for similar stories in the comments.

House Of Leaves?
Is it better reading it as print media, or as an ebook? I heard some of its design layout on the page is a little confusing so I'm wondering if ebook form screws it up a bit.

It absolutely has to be print to really experience it.

You lose a fundamental dimension (heh) of the book if you get it in ebook form.

I have the print copy and I can't imagine what the experience of reading it as an ebook would be like except that it would be very different. For example, there are places where the footnotes will start on one page and continue at the foot of the next page(s) which took me back to reading older academic texts (before people started moving to endnotes). There's a lot of playing with the format of books, the spaces on the page and the expectations we have of books, that I think would be lost. Based on the ebook sample I downloaded just now, the print version is definitely better.

Hell. Yes.

You might like reading Slade House by David Mitchell?... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Slade House was so much better than House of Leaves!

This so much!!

And I will always be grateful for anyone who brings up House of Leaves, that book(and Poe’s companion album) is one of my favorite things in existence!!
