The little feast that Tumnus brought Shasta in Tashbaan.

I was curious about what that was because I couldn't recall that scene off hand, so I looked it up. Here it is for anyone who's curious!

The Faun trotted in, half dancing, with a tray in its hands which was nearly as large as itself. This he set on an inlaid table beside Shasta's sofa, and sat down himself on the carpeted floor with his goaty legs crossed.

"Now, princeling," he said. "Make a good dinner. It will be your last meal in Tashbaan."

It was a fine meal after the Calormene fashion. I don't know whether you would have liked it or not, but Shasta did. There were lobsters, and salad, and snipe stuffed with almonds and truffles, and a complicated dish made of chicken livers and rice and raisins and nuts, and there were cool melons and gooseberry fools and mulberry fools, and every kind of nice thing that can be made with ice. There was also a little flagon of the sort of wine that is called "white" though it is really yellow.

Gotta say, not loving the idea of chicken liver, rice, raisins and nuts, though, LOL.

I like it, it sounds sort of middle eastern.

Turkish delight from Narnia. I've had the real deal and it's not my style but it sounds appealing as crack for kids.

I had no idea what it was and had built it up tremendously in my mind before encountering the real thing (which I am very much not a fan of!)

probably something from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but I haven't read that book in so long and all I can find through googling is the stuff I wouldn't want like exploding candy and that damn gum that turned Violet into a blueberry.

I remember some kind of sugar egg that dissolved on your tongue, revealing a little chocolate bird. As a kid, I thought that sounded fantastic.

When I was a kid, I wanted to drink from the chocolate river like Augustus Gloop. LOL.

hahaha me too, I just would have been more careful than he was!

I still want to try horker meat from Skyrim. It just looks so tender and juicy!

Most of the baked goods from Robin McKinley's Sunshine. I wish it had been popular enough for a companion cookbook.

A lot of meat from animated movies/shows. It always looks so juicy and delicious and never seems to have all the gross chewy stuff like tendons and cartilage that real life meat has.
