103 Seriously, do yourself a favor and read some of Rumiko Takahashi's older manga. Or watch Maison Ikkoku or Urusei Yatsura or something. It annoys the crap out of me that so many people seem to only care about Inu Yasha.

150 Whatever that philia is, I definitely have it. I married a man ten years older than me, my first boyfriend/lover was seven years older than me (that relationship was not legal), and as I get older I find myself becoming attracted to increasingly older men (as in, the age difference is the same but the men are older because I'm getting older). I guess it's out of the ordinary, but I don't really see it as unnatural or taboo. As you said, you're eighteen years of age and therefore whatever consensual relationship you get into with an older man is 100% legal, so who cares what anyone else thinks?
154 This secret reminds of the time I saw Dashboard Confessional live. It was 2000, and I had never heard of him before, so I somehow assumed that it was a hardcore band (I guess I judged based on the person who invited me to come along to the show with him). The concert was the most uncomfortable, cult-like experience of my life.

I'm East Asian and shorter than the average eighth grader (kids these days are just too tall, I swear). Until my skin shows its age (please, please don't ever), dating an older man in public would make him look pedo, so I tend to save the PDA for special occasions or when we're alone. I'd gladly accept his initiatives though, because I'd know that he genuinely doesn't mind.
Hopefully, one day I'll marry an older man too!/envious
