I'm tired of all the discourse around cops. Is the system broken (especially in the USA)? Yes, of course it is and it needs to be fixed. Do too many shows revolve around cops being "Heroes" without reflecting the fundamental problems with the system? Of course! There def should be more shows that deal with the repercussions of the current broken system.
At the same time, we should be able to watch tv shows about cops that don't cover the fundamental flaws in the system without feeling bad or making a big deal about it.
A person watching a tv show involving cops isn't going to change the system. I wish people would let people be.
