139. The fact that they pretty much instantly jumped into bed together made me wtf. It's pretty, but completely lacks substance. I don't hate it, I just feel cheated out of a story.

First: why do you hate that they'll wind up together?

Second: I think it can be done. The show'll just have to give it time to develop, which means they'll have to give Gwen more story lines (which I want them to do anyway *crosses fingers*), and if they work it right it can be really interesting and not leave you with a slap dash "they were together in the legend" feeling.

102. Plenty of people prefer fictional characters. /a/ has threads all the time about only being interested in 2-D girls, for instance. You're not alone. (Though I'm sure it's annoying.)

136. You have my sympathy. Maybe try a fandom for something insanely long-running? Pokemon fandom might've been better in the old days, for instance, but it still has talented writers and such.

108. I wouldn't worry about it too much. These are Arthur and Merlin's early years -- the series may not even get as far as Arthur and Gwen getting married. (Not that I mind if it does, personally.) As far as making it believable, I'm not saying the writers can't screw it up, but it's not as if something happening between them is that far-fetched as long as it's written very slowly.

Far be it for me to defend a canon ship cause I basically never do, LOL, but I don't get why so many people think it would be terrible. How do you know? They're barely on each other's radar at this point and the writers don't appear to be forcing it or any other pairing. If they were, the two of them would have had more scenes together than they did. I think some people are just dreading what they know will happen and it's coloring their perception of what's actually happening on the show.

I want Robin in the next Nolan film too! I've never been a huge Robin fan but I really want to see how the film would handle him...

Oh my god, I watched the Lets Play of Ouendan 1 & 2, and that level was such a fucking gut punch. I just stared, going, "What just happened?" I mean, it was like the creators heard the phrase Rocks Fall, Everybody Dies, and took it seriously.
