I don’t really like Zach Snyder’s work, especially his Watchmen, the shine has even come off of the original.

But it annoyed me how they said Snyder didn’t understand the source material when one of the hosts admitted to not reading it and the other hadn’t read it in a long time. Talking about a movie on its own without knowledge of the source material is valuable and valid but critiquing his understanding based on your understanding of the cliffnotes doesn't feel good.

Secret because I don’t want to be on the troll’s side on this one. I love this podcast and I’m sure they’ve gotten enough feedback.

(Also, the characters were based on Charlton Comics characters like Blue Beetle and The Question.)
