I am still trying to get stupid acorns and pinecones. Only gotten like 4 this whole time. Hope you have better luck then me.

Yeah, the game has been REALLY stingy with them this year. It does help to know that you can shake the trees repeatedly until things fall - it's not just one and done - but sometimes I'll sit there shaking a tree a few dozen times and get like... twelve sticks. Last year I would normally get a pinecone/acorn or two by the time I shook a tree ten times, then I'd move on to the next.

At least only the first item drop can be a wasp nest, as far as I know. XD
