I believe that on an average scale, there have always been those too lazy or foolish to pay much attention to anything beyond their own, narrow interests, such as a higher education and the ongoings of the world around them. I do not believe that fandom's core nature is doing anything to either affect or decrease this number: we just meet a lot more of them since the internet allows us to see the world as it is, what with giving the full mass of the grey majority a voice to communicate with.

Hence, I would advice you not to worry. The brilliant ones are still out there and still doing their best to educate themselves. As is the grey majority continuing their constant march into a grey, dull, featureless future for themselves.

Thank you, I am glad to have done the spirit of the series justice. Because really, even if people see you as a bad girl, if you meet someone you care for screw the rules, people's preconceived notions of your persona and kick the impossible to the curb and BE an adorable yet kickass princess for them if that's what you want. That's all I have to say about that.

Hope it helps. And do remember, a 99 % chance of something failing, just means that you have to aim for that 1 % success ratio! And let me tell ya, I think the chance of even a self-proclaimed "bad girl" finding someone who is willing to be open-minded enough to accept and love her, even if she wouldn't be all bad girl all the time for them, is a heck of a lot higher than 1 %.
