105. I notice that trend a lot in F!S - "I hate this character, but just realized that she's a lot like me." I think it might say something about the hater's self-awareness and personal issues, if you really think about it...

111. I don't know if it's that delusional. If they have aspects that you admire and you want to emulate them, I don't think that the differences in gender really matter all that much.

132. Yeah, no kidding. If people think less of you for watching Avatar (and you're not, you know, one of the crazy shipping-war people) I think they need a good slap and a reminder of what a decent story is.

136. I still don't get the obsession with Aang's age. He's 12, Katara's 14, so what? The entire cast of that show is a bunch of kids, and they're a hell of a lot more mature than your average modern adult. What, people's squick will go away the moment he's 13? And since when does "I ship them" = "I want to sleep with either one or both of them"? What, you can't people because of their chemestry anymore?

142. Easy solution - go out and see a movie with your friends.
Seriously, Fandom is not a narcotic drug, if you're worried about getting addicted, then drop it for a couple of days and come back.
