123. I'm just sick of the fact that these ship wars ARE STILL GOING ON. It made sense when I joined the fandom in 2001, 4 years after the game came out, but it's 2009, and if the Compilation hadn't been made, I'd still be in the fandom. *sighs*

132. True. One of my rl friends knows, but none of my other friends really understand the concept of fandom, and all attempts to fangirl them into to watching the show would be lost on them.

123 - Just be glad they've died down to just a few loudmouth participators at this point. ;D I find my own little quiet corner of fandoms and just have fun. I hope you can find yours and enjoy it too. :3

132 - That sucks--but that's also what online fandom is for. ;D Besides, you're more likely to meet older fans that way and not feel so bad about it--quality TV deserves praise, no matter the target audience. Let the sheeple miss out, but you have fun. ♥

123-I tend to just keep my fandom relegated to several friends. I still don't trust those waters.

132-That's actually the reason I have more online friends than rl friends-we share common interests through common fandoms. ^_~

123 - Understandable--I hope you find a safe, fun area of fandom eventually.

132 - Hahah, it's certainly nice to have at least that one outlet. I do have a few RL friends to geek out with every now and then, but not nearly as often as I'd like.
