103. YOU AND ME BOTH except for the 18 thing. Though I can remember trying to play one back when I did have a PC and not being able to figure it out, so maybe it doesn't matter. :(

117. It's probably because the plot in the games is... not that good. :| It gets fleshed out a lot more in the novels, though. ALSO LOOK YOU GOT 117 8D!!!

137. Most people are in fandoms to escape the real world, but that can be both a good and a bad thing... depending on how far they take it. Also, sometimes when people say stuff like "I'm writing this instead of my paper" or "I drew this in class" it doesn't necessarily mean "I don't care about school." Maybe they'll write the paper later, or maybe drawing during class helps them concentrate.

It's Umineko no Naku Koro ni, a game. There are English translation patches avalible, though.

If they're doing fine in school and are just doing fandom stuff in their spare time, then that's fine. My problem is when people neglect real-world responsibilities entirely for fandom. Like instead of doing the paper later, they never do it at all.

Oh yeah, I totally agree with you there. The worst is when they expect validation for it. "Good on you for... ruining your GPA by writing porn." :|

I'd like to add that I'm wondering if you've really seen people who don't know about the economy, because if so, I think I might have just... died a little inside.
