117. I did object slightly to the whole 'everyone gets married and has kids' idea--not everyone wants that. (Well, Charlie didn't, because he "always preferred dragons to women." OK, Jo. Sure. THERE ARE SEVEN KIDS; ONE'S GOTTA BE GAY.) I think I can see Harry being a decent father; he matured so much during DH...but I'd love to see some fic or something of him being nervous about just that, never having had a solid father and stuff. (And P.S., did Ginny get to name any of her own kids? Dang.)

124. I kinda know what you mean. Lost will end when I graduate college, and that's both depressing and weirdly comforting.

140. OMG!!1 No, OK, seriously, it does take a few read-throughs, I'd say. And I'm not even a huge, long-term maniacal fan, but I'm gonna defend it and say that it takes a few times of reading it to sort of get the flow of the story and to understand the characters, and then it starts being extra-awesome.

145. I was just thinking about being her for Halloween. ;) And I take Halloween really really srsly, so that's saying a lot.

155. ...I know this isn't about me because I've never asked anyone to beta, and yet this kind of thing just strikes paranoid fear into my heart because it might be for me someday or...something. Is it just me, or is realizing/finding out that your characters are Sues the worst possible thing that can happen to a writer? D:

When I read the epilogue and read that Draco's kid was called Scorpius I had an image of Draco seeing off a Mini-Scorpius from Farscape in my head.

The epilogue mostly sucked IMO, both Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione were still together 17 (it was 17, wasn't it?) years later, because everyone in the world ends up marrying their teenage sweetheart and stays together until they're old and gray and dead.

I think one of those couples shouldn't have lasted to the epilogue. Twould have been funny if the epilogue had Harry and Luna together and seeing off their kids.

The amount of bawwwing on imdb.com that Ron hadn't named one of his kids after Fred (hmmmmm, I think Fred's twin George would have something to say about that, anyway JK revealed that George did indeed name his son after Fred)

I know, right? I thought that about Ron naming his kid Fred as soon as I read it, but then my bf's like "uh, no, I think George gets that." And I love that George married Angelina! He stole his dead brother's Yule Ball date! That is so pimp. I approve.

I mean, yeah, it was kinda corny, but I think people would have freaked if all we'd gotten was one decent Hr/R kiss, no? And I guess the H/G shippers would have been mad too, although IDK, because I am so aggressively ambivalent about that ship. :P And "Professor Longbottom" warmed my heart so very much.

(You know what I realized, though? It never says in the book that anyone's married. H/G and Hr/R could just be living in sin with kids. Heh.)
