If you want a really tasty version of "Turkish delight" you should look up Liberty Orchards. It was started by Armenian immigrants to the US, not Turkish, but the candy is very similar and super tasty - soft chewy fruit-juice based candy with nuts (or not, if you prefer) and powdered sugar on the outside
