Build shelters that are specifically trans inclusive. Acknowledging trans women are different is a no no, so that will never happen.

Here's a suggestion: Just like you tell cis women to go to therapy to get over their penis problems, tell penis people to go to therapy so they can realize there are cis women who will NEVER want to share close quarters with penises. Thanks.

NAYRT--the worst violations I've ever dealt with were at the literal hands of another cis woman and yet somehow I just have to deal with cis women having hands and I myself am a cis woman with hands. If I objected to working and existing around cis women's hands I would be rightfully told to a) get therapy and b) learn to live with it.

Like, I'm sorry about your penis phobia, I'm sorry if someone used their penis to hurt you. But I literally dgaf one way or another about penises. If someone uses one as a weapon, the problem is that they hurt someone with it, not that they have one.

Someone could hurt someone just as well with a baseball bat or their hands or a big rock or by running them over with a car or smothering them with a pillow or stabbing them with a letter opener.

A penis is as much of a weapon as a pillow or a letter opener. There's nothing intrinsically evil about letter openers or pillows or penises. They just are. Banning women with them from shelters just hurts them on the assumption that a penis is intrinsically dangerous, like a bomb or an automatic rifle. It's just a part of some bodies that people piss and masturbate and have sex and yeah, sometimes rape with. But aside from the piss part people do all those things with their hands.

You're calling for ostracizing people because you're afraid a specific persecuted tiny minority are all the human equivalent of tactical nukes aimed at cis women and not just people no more or less likely to be shitbag rapists than any random person.

I have literally never seen any of my roommates' genitals, so where are you getting the idea that people in shelters are going to know if any of the women they're sharing with have penises..... unless they inquire, which is invasive and should not be done ever just to satisfy the worry that they miiight?

Like, in my regular course of affairs I don't see the genitals of anyone I'm not having sex with, including people I've lived with and shared washrooms with, and is it that different for other people?
